Best Butt Exercises to Tone, Tighten, Naturally Enhance & Lift Your Bums

There are quite a few different ways in which exercise works for the body. Depending on the type of workout you do, you either lose weight or you gain some, and depending on the area of the body you focus to work out for, you can either reduce it or enlarge it.

A lot of women feel the need to follow on the footsteps of Kim Kardashian and J-Lo, and they desire for a big, curvy butt. Well, look no further if you are one of them. Here are 10 different exercises that you can do which will make your butt round, and big.

Leg Lifts

Start off by getting down on all fours, and keep your spine neutral. Then lift one leg as high as it can go, without bending at the knee. Do 15 reps of this every day.

Pelvic Lift

Lie down on your back, hands on your side, and bend your knees. Then, pull in your abs and lift your pelvis and hold it for a few seconds. Continue doing this for 15 reps.

Pelvic and Leg Lift Combo

For this, stay lying on your back with your legs folded at the knees. Then lift your leg as high as it will go and at the same time lift your pelvis as well. Do 15 reps of this.

Side Lunge

Stand up straight with your legs apart, but don’t go farther than your hips. Now, step to the side with your left leg and go down as far as you can without bending your right leg. And just like the last exercises, do 15 reps of it.

Reverse Lunge with Knee Lift

Standing in the same position as you were in the above exercise, step back and bend your knee at a 90-degree angle, then stand back up and kick it back as high as it will go, without bending it at the knee.

Modified Push Ups

Think of how you would do a regular push up, but instead of keeping your knees straight, you keep them touching the ground and lift your feet instead. The rest of your body will remain the same way as your normal push up would require. Not only will this make your butt nice and curvy but it will also strengthen your core.

Squats

This probably requires no extra explanation. Stand straight with your feet apart and your hands clasped together with the elbows pointing outwards. Bend and bring your elbows to your knees so they hit parallel to the ground, but make sure your feet stay grounded and do not lift from the heels when you do your squat. You can also make it interesting by holding a heavy object in your hands.

Jump Squats

This will be like your regular squats, but instead of slowly bending your knees, you stand straight with your feet apart, and then you jump to the half squat position and then jump back up straight.

Stationery Lunge

Place one foot in front of the other, keeping your front foot flat on the ground and the back foot’sheel should be lifted up. Drop your back knee to the ground and push up through your heel.

Planking

This started off as an internet meme, but is in fact a really good form of exercise to strengthen your core muscle. You put the entire weight of your body on your toes and forearms, keeping the rest of the body as straight as you can, and then you continue holding on to this position for as long as you can. It sound quite easy here, but is in fact really difficult to do.

So, these are some exercises that you can try out if you feel like you need to make your butt more round and curvy.
