Hectic schedules, pressure of maintaining weight and constant criticism for poor performance are the part and parcel of the fashion models’ job. To relieve the burden, everyone adopt different ways. Some models adopt healthy lifestyle while others do find difficulty to cope up with these problems. It has been said that in her first overseas trip to China received a criticism as being too fat and from there she picked up the eating disorder. Eating is meant for survival and comfort but her obsession of reducing weight and refusal to food lead her to self-destruction.
Anna Nicole Smith
Anna had a perfect life with a loving husband, gaining popularity as a model and a successful career until she became used to take prescription pills regularly. Her deadly habit of taking massive doses of prescription medications on a regular basis took her life away.
Gia Carangi
Gia Carangi was a famous American fashion model and she had a promising career ahead of her. She got a chance to feature on many popular fashion magazines and worked with well-known fashion houses including Armani, Christian Dior, and Versace. Sadly, her self-destructive habit lead to cocaine addiction and later she contracted HIV. Due to all these complications she died at the age of 26 leaving behind some good and sad memories.

She was found dead in her own bedroom due to the intoxication by the combined effects of these life-threatening drugs. She surely put her life at a stake by her toxic habit of taking such drugs.

Julia Burns was an American stage and silent film actress and model. She was popularly known as ‘America’s most beautiful girl’ and her early demise certainly shocked entire America. She died at the age of 32 due to alcoholism and drug addiction. This picture-perfect girl pushed her fans into never-ending grief.
