Yes, it is very important for Muslim women to cover their head or wear hijab. Father, brother and husband are “Mahram” people, and she can be without covering her head in front of them. In fact, most of the women also wear a loose body covering called as “Burqa”. The non-Mahram people are all other men, even cousins.
