I have a lot of Muslim friends; they all wear the Hijab or Burqa. They all seem to religiously follow effortlessly. Girls start wearing the hijab around the age of twelve or when they attain puberty. So the hijab becomes a part of their identity and modesty. We accept them as they are, so don’t see any point in the question. You love your friends regardless of their looks or religion. This is just like questioning a Hindu about wearing “Tikka” or “Bindi” on forehead or a Christian about wearing a cross pendant! I think, we should not corner people with these stereotype questions and judge them and have opinions, just because they carry/ value a tradition. Sorry, if I have offended you! 🙂
