My second delivery was elective C-section. I dilated pretty quickly in two hours from the time my water broke. As soon as I reached my hospital, I had fully dilated and then I started to push. Baby did not crown or drop in the right angle so I was pushing for straight four hours in vain. Later, I gave up and asked the doctor to perform a C-section. They cut about six inches and the stitching was done in the stapling method. I was there in the hospital for four days, second day I was asked to walk around the room and have shower. The IV was removed second day itself. The recovery was quick, my scars healed in about a month. I was back to normal after the second month. I had to go for regular check-ups until a year though. My experience was good.
