There is a certain amount of favoritism that changes child to child. It fluctuates and greatly depends on a phase and behavior of kids. For example, the moment favorite son marries against the parents’ will, the other child becomes their favorite. They like NRI son more than the one who lives here, and once they grow old and the son here takes care of them, they start liking him more, so on and so forth.
