Inatur Charcoal Face Mask Review & User Rating

In this post, I am reviewing the Inatur Charcoal face mask. Keep reading to find out if it is hot or not.
In terms of skin care and skin care products, one of the few ingredients that have always been present in product that are meant for deep cleaning and for getting rid of pollution and all sorts of crap from your face is charcoal.
So, in the last few weeks after using a ton of one time use sheet masks on my skin, I wanted to buy something that will give me at least 10 to 12 uses. I hunted through the internet and found a product that was a charcoal face mask.
Now, the only time before I have used a charcoal face mask was when I had gotten the Yes To Tomatoes charcoal mask, which was spoiler alert, really good for my skin. So, I thought why not try out some other brands as well.
Price
This face mask is sold for INR 450 but you can get it a lower price online and you get 125gm of product, which I think given the price, is actually quite nice.
Packaging
It comes in a plastic tub container with a plastic cap. The entire thing is transparent so you can see how much product you have left.
I do however do not prefer using skin care products that come in tubs, mainly because it is unhygienic, and because to keep the entire thing from getting mixed with any germs or bacteria in my hands, I will have to constantly use a spatula or some other kind of scooping tool. But, being entirely made of plastic, you do not have the fear of breaking it if it drops so that is a plus point.
What It Claims to Do
A deep cleansing mask that helps to detoxify and purify the skin, the Inatur Charcoal Mask Face Pack gently removes all the skin impurities and is especially beneficial for removal of tan from the skin.

How It Performed and My Thoughts
One of the reasons why I bought this mask is because I was looking for something that would help sort of detoxify my skin and calm it down. I have been doing a lot of traveling lately, due to which my skin had been under a lot of stress. Be it due to the dry airplane air of the dusty polluted air of the streets.
When I came across this mask, I was immediately willing to buy it, because I liked that its active ingredient was charcoal and that it had a whole bunch of herbal ingredients as well.
The texture of this mask is like any other mud mask would be like. It is a bit grainy and thick, so you will need to add water separately to make application easier.
Once on, it takes around 15 to 20 minutes to dry completely, and after that it is up to you, whether you want to keep it on or more or take it off.
I use an upward scrubbing motion to take the dried mask off my face. That way, the grainy bits in it act as a scrub as well. The mask doesn’t have a strong smell to it either, which is something herbal products tend to have.
The pack claims to be good for getting rid of tan from your face and is also good for oily and acne prone skin.
Since it is a mud mask, I can understand how it will help with the oily skin claim, but you need to know this, no product will ever truly get rid of oily skin forever. All it can do is reduce the oil for some time.
The grainy bits in the mask work as a scrub, thereby helping with the getting rid of tan part.
However, I like having a bronzy look to my skin because it is much better than being a pale ghost. So, I wasn’t really hoping that it would do anything for my tan. It did however, get rid of any dead skin from my face, making it really nice and smooth; the way it feels after a good face scrub.
I also had a few breakouts going around my face, and the drying effect of this mask helped in shrinking their size as well.
Since I have had a good experience with charcoal face mask in the past, I had high hopes and this mask did not break any of them. I’m really happy with the way this product worked and do look forward to repurchasing it again once this tub gets over.

Rating
If it isn’t obvious from looking at the pros and cons, I will be giving this face mask 5 out of 5.
I think it works really great on people with combination to oily skin, helps in reducing acne, gets rid of dead skin, and makes you face soft and glow.
It is a perfect thing to put on a day before or on the day you have some big event or party to go to, because it will give your skin really good last minute prep. Also, if you wear makeup, then using this before will also give you a smooth canvas to work upon.
If you are someone looking for a new face mask or something that works, then give this one a try.
