Kesh King Hair Oil – Product Review, Herbal & Medicinal Product for Hair Fall Control
February 17, 2017 | by ashish963@gmail.com
Hair oil has always played an important role in any Indian hair care routine. Our mothers and grandmothers have always recommended us to use it and we all can agree that our hair feels softer and incredibly nourished afterwards.
In today’s post, we will be reviewing in detail the Kesh King Hair Oil.
Product Review
Packaging
The product comes in a green, plastic bottle with a flip cap, which makes it easy for the user to get the oil out of the bottle without spilling or taking out too much at once. The size of the bottle isn’t too big, therefore making it travel friendly and light weight. Also, since it is made out of plastic, it won’t break or shatter if it falls.
Kesh King Hair Oil Price
The product is priced quite reasonably, since you are getting 120 ml for 136 rupees.
Kesh King Hair Oil Main Ingredients
Since it is medicinal oil, there is quite a long list of herbal ingredients that are in it. Namely, amla, brahmi, bhringraj, and so on, but the main ingredient of this product is sesame oil, and all the other herbal ingredients are added in it to make the final product.
Color, Consistency and usage
The oil is green in color, and has a herbal smell to it. It is greasy, just like any other hair oil is supposed to be, but when it comes to washing the oil off, it doesn’t require a whole lot of shampoo.
The best way to use this product is by sectioning your hair in parts and applying the oil directly in your scalp. This way you can gently massage the oil into your hair follicles instead of taking the oil in your palm and vigorously rubbing it into your hair because that can cause hair fall. If you have some extra time in your hands then you can also heat the oil to a warm temperature before applying it to your hair, because this method has shown good results in the past.
As far as the claims of being an anti-hair fall hair oil, I would say this product has shown decent results. When used twice a week, and kept overnight in your hair, you will see a reduction in the amount of hair fall. In my case, it also made my hair feel nice and soft after I had washed it the next day, and after a few weeks of using this oil regularly I did notice a change in the texture of my hair, although it stopped showing results after a few months of use. Furthermore, since it is a beauty product, the effect of this oil may vary from person to person.
Pros and Cons of Kesh King Hair Oil
In conclusion, here are the pros of the product:
- It is reasonably priced, making it something most of us can afford to buy
- The size of the item is travel friendly, so you can carry it with you on holiday if you want
- The bottle is made out of plastic, therefore it wouldn’t break. Also, because of the flip cap the product can be easily taken out and there is no chance of getting too much product out at once either
- The oil is rich in herbal ingredients, so you can rest assured that your hair isn’t being subjected to any harsh items
- Post shampooing, the hair feels soft, manageable, and incredibly nourished
But there are a few cons to this product as well.
- The oil has a strong herbal smell which can be overpowering sometimes
- It reduces hair fall, but only temporarily. After a few months of use, your hair fall condition goes back to the way it used to be
- Since it is a beauty product, the effects are different on different people
Rating
Since the oil was able to give some results to my hair fall situation, I will rate it a 3.5 out of 5, but since my hair went back to its usual form, I am deducting the remaining 1.5. From the price perspective it is a 4 out of 5, and packaging gets a 5 out of 5.
