Lal Krishna Advani, or L K Advani, as he is fondly referred to, is a politician from India and was born in 1927. He is the Bharatiya Janata political party’s senior leader and stands out against the Indian government by pointing out its flaws. He has worked successfully as the head of the opposition in the 10th and 14th Lok Sabha and has also executed the functions of Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister in the past during the NDA regime.
Advani’s political journey commenced as a Hindu establishment’s unpaid assistant. He was born to a Hindu-Pakistani family in Karachi in British occupied India and was the son to parents, K D Advani and Gyani Devi. He spent his initial academic days in Karachi’s Saint Patrick’s High School and later on, took admission in Pakistan’s Hyderabad’s DG National College.

Lal Krishna passed out of the Government Law College, University of Mumbai and is a lawyer. He was a part of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh prior to 1977 and joined the Janata Party after that. He became a part of the Bharatiya Janata Party in 1980 and has remained with it till date.
Advani has his better-half in Kamla and has two children from her. The couple’s elder daughter is named as Pratibha and younger son is called Jayant. Lal Krishna propelled BJP to success and executed his operations with full efficiency and effectively. This led to the name and fame of the BJP in 1991 and many started noticing it.
LK also once said in a media channel that he regarded himself as a suitable contender for the post of Prime Minister in the general votes of 2009. At the age of 88, he is still very active and voices his opinions against the systems and policies of the government of India.
