Torex No Scars – Cream for Scar, Acne Removal, No Scar Cream, Product Review

Acne and acne marks can be a major confidence killer. No matter how big or small it is, it is on your face, and it is always trying to take the attention away. For a lot of us, getting rid of a pimple does not end the story, because there is always the post pimple scar or spot left on our face, and the most annoying thing about this is that it takes forever to get rid of these spots and blemishes.

Over the years, there have been many products that were created to deal with this very purpose of reducing acne spots. Some work and some are major disasters. In today’s post, I will be reviewing the Torex No Scars cream, which claims to be the best cream for removing pimple marks.

This product is priced at INR 144 for 20 grams.

It comes in a typical ointment tube with a screw on cap.

Color and consistency

The cream is white in color and has a consistency that would resemble that of Fair and Lovely.

What It Claims

As its tag line on the package says “Ab scar nahi star dikhega” (You will see a star instead of the scars). The product claims to be a double action remedy for hyper-pigmentation that helps reduce and remove scars, marks, blemishes, post pimple scars, stretch marks, dark circles under the eyes and burn scars. 

How It Performed

When I bought this product, I was apprehensive of using it as an acne scar treatment cream because let’s be real here, I wasn’t going to put just anything on my face. So I started of using this cream as a scar removal cream for cuts and wounds that had healed but had left behind a mark. After using this product for a week, I was able to see that the scars from cuts and other wounds on my body were getting lighter, so I started to use this product for the acne marks on my face. I won’t lie, I did see the marks get lighter after the first night of use, but then things got a little bit difficult. When I used to apply this cream, it felt like I was putting on something corrosive on my face. It made my skin very irritated and sensitive. And to add to my problems, when I washed my face the next morning after keeping this cream overnight, my skin felt taught and the areas where I had applied this cream were dry and flaky. Like my skin was actually flaking, as if I were a snake shedding my skin in a patchy manner. I stopped using this product after this and would not be recommending it to people. 

Pros and Cons

Pros:

• Works on scars from cuts and wounds.

Cons:

• Makes your skin irritated and super dry
• Areas where you apply this cream starts flaking
• Does not work in removal of pimple scars and marks.

Rating

If I could give this product a 0 I would, but since it worked on lightening the scars from the cuts and wounds on my body, I’ll give it a 1 out of 5. It is a major disappointment of a product. It is extremely harsh on your face and the company should stop trying to sell this product as a pimple marks removal cream.
