For both you and your Significant One, healthy diet is crucial to get a healthy baby.

Pay attention to what you eat: Take a balanced diet and get enough exercise to maintain a healthy weight. Get a health check-up with your physician and let them know that you both have planned to have a baby. They might ask you to take some vitamins. Eat lots of fresh vegetables and fruits and take a good amount of whole grains in a day. Drink at least eight glasses of water every day. Make sure your partner consumes foods that contain Vitamin E, Vitamin C and zinc. These help in healthy sperm production.
Follow healthy habits: Stop alcohol and quit smoking. Reduce caffeine intake too. You and your partner stay fit by incorporating activities and fitness routines. And, Sleep for at least 8 hours per day.
Take Prenatal Vitamins: Even if you eat the most nutritional food, there is a necessity for you to take prenatal vitamins. This is supposed to boost the chances of conceiving. The folic acid helps your baby grow after you conceive.
Strengthen you bond with your partner: Pregnancy is a family event/ celebration. You and your partner should be confident enough mentally to raise a child. Throughout the pregnancy you will need full support. You need your partner to know your mood-swings and insecurities. So, talk and spend a lot of quality time together planning and preparing.

I wish you both all the very best for your future!
