I did my own make-up on my wedding day. Everything went on as planned. But, my reception was not as good. My in-laws had hired a beautician and there was no proper co-ordination about my outfits and colors. I was shocked to see all wrong colored accessories! I had to adjust and choose the best out of worst! It was not so pleasing experience. I look like a teenager all mismatched in my reception photos.
