I love rose water too. I make in the simplest way. I just infuse rose essence in water, no boiling or distilling. I put clean rose petals and filtered water in a clean sterilized glass jar. Then I put this jar in Sun for days just like we make pickles. After a few days the water in the jar will turn slightly pink as all the petals infuse their essence. I store the rose water in the refrigerator.
This method is good for lazy people like me. I make a batch of rose water every week as this method will not keep rose water fresh for long. Hope this helps.
