Mugdha Godse is a Bollywood actress and is an erstwhile model. Mugdha was a participant of Femina Miss India 2004 and has the rare credit of reaching the ‘semi-finalist’ spot in the same. Her acting skills and ambitions were noticed soon by director Madhur Bhandarkar and she was cast in his 2008 film, Fashion. She has also been a judge in a famous Marathi reality show.

Mugdha was born in a poor social class family in Pune and has a sister, called Madhura. She did her B.Com from Marathwada Mitra Mandal College of Commerce in the same city. She struggled very hard in the initial days of her life and made only about Rs 100 per day by selling oil. This was her only way of making a living.
Later in life, she became health conscious and started exercising in the gymnasium. This improved her overall health and boosted her confidence levels. This further led her towards taking part in various local beauty pageants and made her achieve the first major milestone of her life by winning the Gladrags Mega Model Hunt in 2002.
Mugdha has many TV advertisements to her credit. She has worked with many super stars and has also used up five of her years doing various media ads, music videos and commercials. She has participated in many national and international fashion events and has also starred in some other famous movies, like Heroine, Help and Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns.
