I think it was a bit rude keeping in mind that other kids were also there in the house. Imagine cooking one dish for each kid! It’s not fair to cook only for your child when other kids are adjusting to the situation. I would feel mad if somebody did that in my house when I am the host. Unless the kid is having some medical food requirement or if the child has some allergies.
